Every time I’ve gone on fishing trips with big Buford Sportfishing, Captain Ricky goes above and beyond. Would recommend anyone to go on a charter with him. From experienced anglers to beginners, this is the best charter boat I’ve been on.

**5 Stars** If you’re looking for the best day on the water in Riviera Beach, look no further than **Captain Ricky** and the Big Buford crew. Ricky is in a league of his own—the guy has an incredible depth of knowledge when it comes to tackle and gear, but he pairs that expertise with a sense of humor and kindness that makes the whole trip. The views alone are worth the price of admission. We were out in turquoise blue water so clear you could see almost to the bottom. If you’re reading this from a cold office somewhere, trust me: sell your right arm, book the flight, and get out here. It’s a bucket-list experience. The best part? You don’t need to bring a thing except your lunch and a few drinks. Captain Ricky and his expert staff handle everything from start to finish. It’s an incredible value for the quality of fishing and the time spent with family. We’ll definitely be back

Captain Ricky and 1st mate Ali were great and attentive. Excellent knowledge from catching the bait fish to where the mahi-mahi and tuna were. Great day of not only fishing but a great day of catching. A+A+ A+ Highly Recommended !!! No disappointments here.

We had an amazing experience with Big Buford Fishing Charters! Captain Ricky is absolutely the best. If you want to catch fish, this is the charter to book. Ricky is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and makes the entire trip fun and successful every time. We are always impressed with how productive our trips are with him. Took some young kids out and they had us on fish immediately. We had a blast. Crew was awesome, boat was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better trip.

We went fishing with three adults and two young anglers, 6 and 8. Captain Ricky was punctual and well-prepared, and we quickly identified a great game plan to target eater snappers primarily to get have good catching activity... and catch we did. We got probably 75+ fish and kept the best sized fish, 19 in total. The technique was manageable for non-anglers and really entertaining and fun. We counted at least 8 species and later, after Captain Ricky filleted all the fish for us, had plenty for tacos and ceviche for lunch and some for the freezer. This is the most catching we have ever done on a charter and we’ve been on a bunch. We will definitely reach out to Captain Ricky again next time we are in town.

We had an awesome trip—even went out despite the rain! I brought my 10-year-old son, and he had a blast. Ricky was great with him, teaching him throughout the day. We were on fish the whole time, though we had to keep switching spots to dodge the sharks—which, honestly, was nearly impossible. Still, Ricky did everything he could. We landed a bunch of fish, and we probably would've had double if it weren’t for the sharks. Every time we reeled in, they were right there trying to snatch the catch. We lost count after getting bit off more than 20 times! Watching a pack of 2 to 6 huge bull sharks charging in was wild. If you go, just make sure to follow Ricky’s instructions—and reel fast!

If you’re looking for a good time with good people and you want to catch a lot of fish, look no further. Ricky and Chad were amazing. My boyfriend and I had a great time and caught a lot of fish (amberjack, yellow jack, mahi & snapper). Highly highly recommend doing a full day of fishing with the full 8 hours.

Captain Ricky was great! Went out with my family and caught a lot of yellow tail mangrove, kingfish and snapper. Definitely would book again.

An absolute blast with Big Buford Sportfishing! Captain Ricky and his crew made sure we had a fantastic time. We caught Mahi Mahi, Mutton Snapper, and Tuna, and the excitement was unmatched. Highly recommended for an action-packed fishing experience!
